As Old Man Winter’s icy cold breath reigns down across the landscape, rendering Mother Nature’s palette of vibrant hues into sombre, subdued shades, sun worshipers grudgingly cover up and layer up. Their allegiance to summer’s verve lies in their use of bold, vivid colors which serve as a symbol of defiance and hope; a rebellion against the bitter cold.
